Transfer student orientation

Academic Advisement helps with students transferring to Walla Walla University by facilitating a transfer student orientation and providing advisement based on their transfer credits. All transfer students are strongly encouraged to attend the orientation for transfer students to fully integrate with our campus. Transfer orientation is a one-day session to get you started on the right path at WWU. It is designed for students who are transferring in more than 36 credits and who have experience in a college setting. You will meet individuals from important departments, learn about school policies, complete steps for finalizing registration, and discover campus resources to support your success.

2024 Transfer Student Orientation

Transfer student orientation will introduce you to key campus departments and provide you a wealth of information to get you started on the right foot. Orientation will consist of two parts: a D2L class giving you access to introductory videos on campus services and an in-person presentation on September 26th from 9:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m.

Transfer students will automatically be enrolled and be able to access the transfer orientation class on D2L through myWWU. On Thursday, Sept. 26th, we will host an orientation with presentations for key departments from around campus. Further information on location will be provided as the event approaches.
